Logs and weekly insights
Log skin response and review weekly patterns
SkinRitual connects daily skin check-ins with a seven-day insight view built around your own routine history.
After an AM or PM routine, record dryness, irritation, breakouts, glow, notes, and the products used. Premium Insights then summarize weekly averages, changes, logged days, AM/PM sessions, streaks, and observations as patterns—not diagnoses.

Make the log specific enough to be useful
A skin log is a short record of how your skin felt after a routine. SkinRitual gives you structured fields for dryness, irritation, breakouts, glow, notes, and products used, with the AM or PM session attached. You choose what to record; the app does not collect a clinical measurement.
The more consistently you log across days, the more context the weekly view has. Missing days remain missing rather than being filled with invented data.
What the weekly view can show
Premium Insights cover the last seven days and compare with the previous week when enough logs exist. The shipped dashboard can show weekly averages for dryness, irritation, and glow, a score built from the logged signals, changes, daily scores, logged days, AM/PM sessions, and a current logging streak.
Observations are deliberately framed as patterns. They can point out changes such as a stronger AM or PM period, a streak, or repeated breakouts, but they do not identify causes or offer treatment.
- Start with one check-in after a routine
- Aim for several logged days before interpreting a comparison
- Use notes and product context to remember what changed
