Overview

SkinRitual is designed with privacy-first defaults. We do not require account creation, show advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Your routines, product names, and skin logs remain on your device and are not included in our analytics events.

Data We Collect

We collect limited first-party analytics to understand app reliability, feature usage, and the purchase experience. This may include:

• A randomly generated app identifier and a temporary session identifier.
• App version, platform, screen, and general interaction events.
• Aggregate counts, such as the number of products or routines created.
• Paywall views, selected plan, trial eligibility or use, and purchase or restore outcome.

We do not send the names of your products or routines, your skin check-in values, your onboarding skincare goal, payment card details, email address, or Apple ID through analytics.

How We Use and Process Analytics

We use this information to measure feature adoption, diagnose issues, improve onboarding and subscription flows, and understand whether purchases complete successfully.

Analytics events are processed using contracted cloud infrastructure acting on our behalf. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it for cross-app tracking.

Purchases and Subscription Data

SkinRitual offers monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions, plus an optional lifetime in-app purchase. Payment processing, subscription status, renewals, and billing are handled by Apple.

The app uses limited transaction status information from Apple to unlock premium access. We also record plan selection and purchase, trial, or restore outcomes in first-party analytics, but we do not receive your full payment credentials.

Local Data Storage

Routine data, product data, and skin logs are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms.

Deleting the app from your device may permanently remove locally stored data that has not been backed up by your own device backup settings.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device. Limited analytics records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for product analysis, security, and legal obligations. Support communications are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your request and meet legal obligations.

Children's Privacy

SkinRitual is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
